HEY, COUSIN!

Black Trans Family Reunion is a space envisioned and brought forth by us, for us — in a time when our lives, our stories, and our futures are being challenged.

Gathering • Retreat • Sanctuary •

Created to bring us together — to hold space, feed our people, ensure our safety, and deepen our ever-powerful existences.

  • We are weaving a network of care.
Knowing who and where our cousins are means we can move — together — when inevitable harm comes near, and mobilize resources to reduce or avoid harm.

This is how we protect each other.

  • Our stories belong to us.
The focused attacks on our communities require response from those who are most affected. We are documenting, shaping, and telling our truth — in our own words, on our own terms.

  • We make space for the full range of Black trans life — across identities, experiences, and paths — so we can anchor towards our shared experiences and move in coordination, not isolation.

  • Some of us are new to movement.
Some of us have been here.

    All of us belong.

    Artists. Youth. Workers. Dreamers. Builders.
